Identification If you have a Gateway 610 computer and are running Windows XP, install these drivers. Installation After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file (9524870.exe), files are self-extracted and copied into the C:\Cabs\9524870 folder on the hard drive. 1. From the Start menu, click Run. 2. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\9524870\HXFSetup.exe. 3. The drivers are installed. Removal 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs. 3. In the Add or Remove Programs window, select SoftK56 Data Fax Modem, and then click Change/Remove. 4. The driver is removed. Troubleshooting If you have difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then re-install the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
