Utilities: P03-0040.exe - This is Windows(R) Executable to update previous versions to the new version. To run from Windows(R), double click the name and follow the instructions. IFLASH.EXE - This is a DOS utility to update the BIOS. Usage is: iflash /p filename.BIO where filename.BIO is the file with the BIO extension included in this release. Data files (by extension): .BIO - This is the image that is updateable from DOS using the IFLASH utility. .REC - If the BIOS is corrupted, it allows you to recover the firmware to a usable state. To use, copy a file into a blank CD using your Windows XP CD/RW software. This changed compared to previous release where the format is El Torito floppy emulation. It is wise to make the Recovery CD before you need it. To do forced recovery, insert the CD Recovery disk, press both up/down volume button and press the power button. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
