Identification If the drivers were previously installed, the TV tuner is identified under Sound, Video and Game Controllers in the Device Manager as AVerMedia AVerTV Tuner (Phillips 1236 MK3). 1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel. 2. In Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance. 3. In Performance and Maintenance, click System. 4. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. 5. In Device Manager, double-click Sound, Video and Game Controllers. 6. Under Sound, Video and Game Controllers, if AVerMedia AVerTV Tuner (Phillips 1236 MK3) is listed, this is the correct driver. Installation 1. From the Start menu, click Run. 2. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\Avermedia10512\InstallDriver.exe. 3. In the System Settings Change box, click Yes to restart the computer. Removal 1. From the Start menu, click Run. 2. In the Run dialog box, type: C:\Cabs\Avermedia10512\UninstallDriver.exe. 3. In the Uninstall Driver dialog box, click OK. Troubleshooting If you are having difficulty during or after the driver installation, follow the removal procedure, and then reinstall the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
