Installing NeoMagic 2090 Windows NT 3.51 Display Driver.

1.  Log in as the administrator.
2.  Run Control Panel and open the Display applet.
3.  Select "Change Display Type...".
4.  Select "Change...".
5.  Select "Other...".
6.  Place the driver installation disk in drive A: and type A:\WINNT351 
    for the path, then select "OK".
7.  Make sure the NeoMagic driver is selected in the "Models" listbox and
    select "Install".  Select "Yes" to change system configuration.
8.  Make sure the driver installation disk is still in drive A: and
    select "Continue".
9.  A message box will appear notifying you if the driver was
    successfully installed.  Select "OK" to close this message box.
10. Another message box is then displayed notifying you that the driver
    could not be started dynamically.  Select "OK" to close this message
    box.
11. Finally, you will be given the option to restart Windows NT.  Select
    "Restart Now" if you wish to reboot immediately or "Don't Restart
    Now" if you do not wish to reboot at this time.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
