readme.txt Driver File Contents (7507813.exe)

This document provides installation instructions for the Intel(r) 810 Chipset Graphics Driver Version 3.0.  This display driver is for both the Gateway Astro and the Profile 2 computers.

1. Click on Start, Setting and Control Panel.
2. Double click on the Display icon
3. Click on the Settings tab
4. Click on the Advanced button in the lower right of the screen
5. Click on the Adapter tab
6. Click on the Change button
7. Click on the Next button
8. Click on Search for a better driver bullet and click on the Next button
9. Put a checkmark only in the Specify a Location
10. Type the correct path for where the driver is located in the Specify a Location box.  (Example:  C:\display) 
11. Click on the Next button
12. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialogue box will default to "Continue using the current driver.  Intel(r) 810 Chipset Graphics Driver PB 2.4".  Select the other option "Install one of the other drivers." 
13. Click on the View button.
14. In the Select Other Driver dialogue box, the "Intel (r) 810 Chipset Graphics Driver 4.11.01.2523" should be highlighted.  Click on the OK button.
15. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialogue box should return with the "Install one of the other drivers select and the "Intel (r) 810 Chipset Graphics Driver 4.11.01.2523" driver will be identified.  Click on the Next button.
16. Click on the Next button for the Windows driver file search for the device dialogue box.
15. Please insert Disk labeled "Disk 2" warning may appear and click on the OK button
17. In the Copy Files From dialogue box, type the path for where the files are located.  This will be the same location identified in Step 10 above.
18. Click on the OK button.
19. Windows has finished installing the driver you selected for your hardware device.  Click on the Finish button.
20. Click on the Yes button to restart the system.
21. After the computer has restarted, the display adapter should be recognized as "Intel(r) 810 Chipset Graphics Driver 4.11.01.2523 indicating that the drivers have been installed successfully.
