Readme.txt Driver File Contents (vfw.zip)

If you are unable to view the videos within Teach Me Piano or Teach Me Piano
Deluxe, your computer may be missing the necessary video compression Codecs
that are part of the Windows operating system. 


  1. Download and then unzip the vfw.zip file (using 3rd party unzipping 
     software such as Winzip). 

  2. Run the file setupvfw.exe

  3. It will ask you to choose your operating system: Windows 95 or NT. 
     *  If you have Windows 9x/ME, choose the Windows 95 option. 
     *  If you have Windows 2000 or XP, choose the Windows NT option.

  4. Once the installation is finished, reboot your computer and try running 
     the software and see if you can see the videos. 


If you are still not able to see the videos, you may wish to refer to the 
Microsoft Help feature within your operating system for troubleshooting help
on viewing videos (.avi files).

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
