Teach Me Guitar Deluxe 2.00 - Patch to Version 2.01

Some users have reported that upon installing Teach Me Guitar Deluxe they are
unable to launch the application from the Windows Start menu shortcut.  We
have a downloadable patch available that will correct this issue.  

When attempting to run Teach Me Guitar Deluxe from the Windows Start menu 
shortcut, if you receive the error messages below, ONLY then should you 
download and install the patch named: tmgdxpch.zip.
Remember: "If it ain't broke don't fix it".
  
  Error1:
  "Place the Teach Me Guitar Deluxe CD into:"
 
  Followed by:
  "Unable to Load D:TARGETDIRtmgdlxL.top
   Please run Setup"

IMPORTANT!
   If you are *not* receiving any of the above messages, you should *NOT*
   install this patch.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Download the file tmgdxpch.zip from the Teach Me Guitar FTP page.  To get 
   to the Teach Me Guitar FTP page, either click BACK on your browser and
   click on the "FTP Files" link at the top of the Teach Me Guitar Knowledge 
   Base page, or from the Voyetra home page click: 
          Sales & Support > Files & Drivers > Teach Me Guitar.

2) Double-click on the downloaded tmgdxpch.zip file, and then extract the file
   "Teach Me Guitar Deluxe 201 Patch.exe" to your desktop.

3) Double-click the file to launch the patch installation; 
   follow the on-screen instructions.

4) Once the installation has completed, you will be able to run Teach Me
   Guitar Deluxe from the Windows Start menu shortcut and can delete the 
   "Teach Me Guitar Deluxe 201 Patch.exe" file from your desktop.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
