Installation Notes

Win98FE/SE
Installation:
**do not plug the modem, setup will prompt user to do so**
	1. run setup.exe, wizard will ask user to reboot
	2. after rebooting and entering Windows, plug the modem
	3. windows will locate the driver and install it. Window may prompt user to insert Windows 98 CD
Uninstallation
	In Control Panel \ Add/Remove Programs, remove NETGEAR DG632 installer and just follow the wizard


Windows Millennium/Windows 2000
Installation:
	**do not plug the modem, setup will prompt user to do so**
	1. run setup.exe, wizard will ask user to plug the modem
	2. After plugging the modem, Windows will install driver automatically
Uninstallation
	In Control Panel \ Add/Remove Programs, remove NETGEAR DG632 installer and just follow the wizard


Windows XP
Installation:
	**do not plug the modem, setup will prompt user to do so**
	1. run setup.exe, wizard will ask user to plug the modem
	2. After plugging the modem, A "New Hardware Found" window will appear. Click on install automatically, modem will then be installed
Uninstallation
	In Control Panel \ Add/Remove Programs, remove NETGEAR DG632 installer and just follow the wizard

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
