  What's New
  ----------

    The CardBus is 32-Bit PC Card which runs with better performance than
    16-Bit PC Card.

    The adapter supports the AutoSense, 100BaseTX Full Duplex, 100BaseTx Half
    Duplex mode, 10BaseT Full Duplex mode, and 10BaseT Half Duplex mode.


  Notes on Setup
  --------------

    For Netware, related drivers are in driver disk's \NETWARE directory.

    For Packet Driver, related drivers are in \PKTDRV directory.

    For Linux Driver, related installation guide is in \Linux.

    For Windows NT & Windows 95 OSR2, 98, ME, 2000 & XP, use the "Network Setup"
    utility provided by windows system to install the Adapter to the system and
    system will load the drivers at start up time.

    After installation, simply reboot the machine to enable the CardBus
    PC Card.


  Drivers Supported on this release of the Drivers Disk

    CB102EN.EXE    Enabler Driver
    CB102.COM      DOS/ODI Driver working with direct enabler or card service
    CB102PD.COM    Packet Driver working with direct enabler or card service
    CB102.SYS      Enhance Mode NDIS Driver for Windows 95 OSR2/98/ME/2000/XP
                   and Windows NT.


  Notes on using EMM386 or QEMM
  -----------------------------

    If your computer's CONFIG.SYS file has the EMM386.EXE command line,
    please make sure the memory range D000-D7FF is excluded.
    Because the Card Services need this range to allocate resources for
    the adapter.

  Technical Support
  -----------------

    If you still cannot get the PCMCIA Card working properly, our
    technical experts are always ready to help. Please be at your
    computer, have the PCMCIA Card, Drivers Disk, and the following
    information available:

    * The exact text of any error message displayed on your screen
    * The type of computer
    * The type of network
    * The detail content of the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files for DOS

    The adapter has been tested with and is compatible with the
    following CardBus equipped computers:

        -For Windows NT 4.0, the following Memory Address, IRQ Number
         settings have been used successfully:

            I/O Address=E200h, IRQ = Auto


    Compaq N30W

        -For Windows NT 4.0, the following Memory Address, IRQ Number
         settings have been used successfully:

            I/O Address=E200h, IRQ = 11


    Compaq ARMADA M300

        -For Windows NT 4.0, the following Memory Address, IRQ Number
         settings have been used successfully:

    Dell Latitude

        -For Windows NT 4.0, the following Memory Address, IRQ Number

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
