Unzip all the files into the same folder. There should be 17 files in total. (Including the readme.txt)
Follow these instructions to install the driver:
In device manager find your modem.
Right click on it and click on update driver from the menu that pops up.
You should now be in the welcome to the hardware update wizard screen
select the "install from a list or specific location {Advanced}" option
at the next screen select the option "don't search I will choose the driver to install"
Click have disk
Click browse and browse to the folder that contains the DCMNCM6.inf file
Click on the DCMNCM6.inf and click open
you should be back at the install from disk screen
click on OK
the show compatible hardware option is ticked and it should say "conexant-ambit" modem in the models windows. if it doesn't untick the show compatible hardware option and see if you can see the modem then. This will show you if the drivers are compatible with your type of conexant modem.
click next
It should then install the modem.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
