                  -------------------------------------

  Introduction
  ------------
Thank you for purchasing the NETGEAR Model FA410TX Fast Ethernet
PC Card. The NETGEAR FA410TX adapter has been developed by
combining the latest 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet technology and
Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA)
  technology.

The FA410TX Fast Ethernet PC Card is designed to work with
notebook computers that either comes with Socket Services
and Card Services or have a Intel PC Card or compatible controller.

The FA410TX Fast Ethernet PC Card driver support Hot-Swap function
for Win95 and Win98 only. The Hot-Swap function will not work with
  any other operating system.

  Getting Started
  ---------------
A MS-DOS installation/help program, HELP.EXE is provided for ease of
setup for normal users. HELP.EXE will provide information on driver
installation for the appropriate network operating systems.

A diagnostics program is also provided to verify the connection between
the NETGEAR FA410TX PC card and the hub or switch.

To run the installation/help program, simply execute the HELP.EXE program
from the root directory of the driver disk. (eg. A:\HELP<Enter>)

The diagnostic program, DIAG.EXE, can be executed from the driver disk,
or copied onto the hard disk for execution. However, this program must
be executed without previously loading any driver. For exmaple, it can
be run under the MS-DOS mode in Windows 95, but not in Windows mode.
