2.Installation Notes 
-----------------------------------------------------------------
You must have Windows NT 4.0 installed with the Standard VGA driver (640x480x16)
before you install the Diamond Viper V550 Series NT 4.0 drivers.  If you
are running a different graphics mode please re-configure for Standard VGA.

Note that the default resolution that installed is 640x480x8 60Hz.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Place your CDROM that you received with Diamond Viper V550in your CDROM 
drive X: (X: being your CDROM driver letter). If your CDROM Autostart feature 
is turned off you will need to manualy go to your RUN line 
(Click on start/run located on your start bar) and type X:\Install.exe
and your CD will guide you through the rest of the installation.

4. Known Issues

To uninstall your product you will need to rerun your installation and deselect
what you want uninstalled.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
