               PRO120 100/10 Mbps PCI Bus Fast Ethernet Adapter
                           NetWare ODI Server Driver
                      for Netware 4.10 Installation Guide
               ================================================

A.) Installation Procedure
==========================
Before you start with the installation process, make sure that the Novell
NetWare V4.10 server is properly installed. Similarly, your adapter should also
be properly installed in your workstation.

 1. Insert the Driver Diskette into drive 'A' and check the contents of
    sub-directory \NETWARE\SERVER.410. It should contain the following files:

     MXICSERV.LAN   Ä  Novell NetWare V4.10 Server Driver.
     MXICSERV.LDI Ä Novell NetWare Server Driver Installation Information
                       File.
     AUTOEXEC.NCF
     MSM.NLM
     ETHERTSM.NLM
     NBI.NLM

 2. At the NetWare prompt (indicated by the Server name), run the INSTALL.NLM
    program by typing:

    :LOAD INSTALL <Enter>

 3. Select "Driver options (Load/Unload/...)" and press <Enter>.

 4. Select "Configure network drivers", and then press <Enter>.

 5. Select "Load a driver", and then press <Enter>.

 6. Press the <Ins> key to specify other drivers to install.

 7. Press <F3>, specify the driver path (A:\NETWARE\server.410), and then press
    <Enter>.

 8. The MXICSERV.LAN driver should appear in your choice list for the 'Select a
    driver to install:' field. Choose this driver to start the driver loading
    and binding procedure. This will allow you to load and bind all 4 frame
    types supported by NetWare.

 9. To complete the process, follow the instructions on the screen.

C.) Motherboard Compatibility
==============================
This driver follows Novell ODI Driver Specification version 3.3, the NetWare
server version 3.1x and 4.10 must be patched to work with this driver. The
NetWare server 4.11 and above do not need to be patched. The patching method is
described as below:

 1. Copy LOADER.EXE and LSWAP.EXE files to the NetWare server directory.

 2. Execute LSWAP.EXE at DOS prompt from NetWare server directory.

    Usage: LSWAP.EXE [LoaderFilePath [ServerFilePath]]
          Default LoaderFilePath = C:\NWSERVER\LOADER.EXE
          Default ServerFilePath = C:\NWSERVER\SERVER.EXE

 3. You will see a successfully patched message on the screen and get a new
    SERVER.EXE program in the Netware server directory.

D.) Installation Notes
======================

 1. You had better add the followings in the STARTUP.NCF:

      Set Reserved Buffers Below 16 Meg 200
      Set Maximum Physical Receive Packet Size = 1530
