                             ICC PROFILE
                             Installation
                             ============

An ICC (International Color Consortium)-compliant profile is provided
for the Minolta-QMS magicolor 2200 DeskLaser. This profile is intended
for use by ICM 1.0 (Windows 95) and ICM 2.0 (Windows 98, Windows Millenium,
and Windows 2000). It also works with other application-specific color
matching systems, such as that in CorelDRAW 10. This readme file explains
how to install the ICC profile. Consult your application documentation for
more information on using this profile.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1 If it's not already there, insert the Minolta-QMS magicolor 2200 DeskLaser
Documentation and Software CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive on your PC.

2 In Explorer copy the DL2200RGB.ICM file to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COLOR
directory (for Windows 98 or Windows Millenium) or the \WINNT\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\COLOR directory (for Windows 2000) on your PC.

3 Change to the directory into which the profile was copied.

The DL2200RGB.ICM file icon is grayed out.

4 Select the DL2200RGB.ICM file with the right mouse button.

5 From the pop-up menu choose Install.

This updates the Windows Registry. The icon is no longer grayed
  out.

Usage Instructions
------------------

Some applications, like Microsoft Publisher, automatically install
ICC profiles. Others, like CorelDRAW 10, do not. If your application
doesn't install ICC profiles automatically, refer to the application
documentation to install the ICC profile for the Minolta-QMS magicolor
2200 DeskLaser.
