README.TXT Driver File Contents (awdflash.zip)

  (1) The mainboard can uses two types of Flash ROM ---- 5 volt and 12 
      volt. Set the mainboard for either type with the "Flash ROM BIOS
      Jumper".
              
      P.S. (incorrect setting, the Flash EPROM won't be programed.)

  (2) Power-off your system, set "Flash ROM BIOS jumper" in a correct position.

  (3) Power-on your system from MS-DOS ( no CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files)

  (4) Type "AWDFLASH.EXE new_BIOS_file_name", then press "ENTER".
  
  (5) When the system asked if you want to save the BIOS, press "NO".

  (6) When the system asked if you are sure to program, press "YES".

  (7) After the update is completed, power-off the system and wait at least 
      a 10 second before power-on the system again.

 Using incorrect BIOS file may cause the system can't reboot.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
