IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
=============================================================================
* This driver supports the Siemens OfficeLAN PCI 10/100 TX Fast Ethernet
Adapter.
* This driver conforms to the Network Driver Interface Specification
(NDIS) v2.0.1 defined by Microsoft/3Com. The driver has been tested
with Microsoft LAN Manager, 3Com 3+Open, IBM LAN Server, IBM PC LAN
Program, DEC Pathworks, and other NDIS-compatible network operating
systems and protocol stacks.
* The PROTOCOL.INI file contains configuration information.

DEVICE DRIVER INSTALLATION GUIDE For LAN Server 2.0 or 3.0
=============================================================================
1. At the DOS prompt, insert the IBM LAN Support Program (LSP) v1.3x
diskette into your floppy drive.
2. Type: DXMAID
3. Press [Enter] three times.
The Environment Information screen appears.
4. Specify the values that follow for the fields on this screen. Use the
spacebar to cycle through the available options for each field.
For LSP v1.30 and v1.33:
Configuration for this computer? Yes
Use existing configuration information? No
Do you have adapter option diskettes? Yes
Are you configuring for two adapters? No
Source for LSP A:\
Target for new configuration C:\LSP
For LSP v1.35:
Are you updating an existing configuration? No
Do you have driver diskettes? Yes
Target for LSP: C:\LSP
CONFIG.SYS to update: C:\CONFIG.SYS
AUTOEXEC.BAT to update: C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
5. Press [Enter] to accept these selections.
The program prompts you to install the "option" diskette.
6. Insert the ConfigDisk in your floppy drive and specify the path:
A:\NDIS\DOS
7. Press [Enter].
The files are copied from the ConfigDisk to the target directory on the
hard disk.
8. For LSP v1.30 and v1.33 users, press [Enter] two times.
For LSP v1.35 users, press [Enter] once only.
The files are copied from the ConfigDisk to the target directory on the
hard disk.
9. When prompted, re-insert the LSP diskette and press [Enter].
The Current Configuration screen appears with
"Siemens OfficeLAN PCI 10/100 TX Fast Ethernet Adapter".
10. Press [F4].
LSP is installed.
11. Use a text editor to edit the CONFIG.SYS file, specifying at least
20 files in the FILES= line.
Example:
files=20
12. Save your CONFIG.SYS file and reboot your system.
13. If you are using DOS v5.0 or later, type at the DOS prompt:
SETVER CIP_MAIN.EXE 5.00
14. Press [Enter].
15. Reboot your system.
16. Insert the DOS LAN Requester Install diskette in your floppy drive.
17. Type: INSTALL
18. Press [Enter] three times.
The program prompts you for the pathname of the DOS LAN
Requester directory.
23. Specify the target path for the DOS LAN Requester files. The default
is C:\DOS.
24. Press [Enter].
The program asks which services you require.
25. Highlight one of the following options:
Send messages
Send, View, Edit, and Log messages
In most cases you select "Send, View, Edit, and Log messages".
26. Press [Enter].
27. Specify the workstation ID and the domain ID. The domain ID must
be the domain server ID, and it must be the same for all workstations
on the network.
28. Follow the screen prompts to complete the installation.

DEVICE DRIVER INSTALLATION GUIDE For LAN Server 4.0
=============================================================================
Before starting the installation processes, make sure that DOS LAN
Services is properly installed.
1. Copy L100.DOS from released diskette (A:\NDIS\DOS) to DOS
LAN Services subdirectory C:\NET.
2. Under DOS LAN Requester subdirectory C:\NET, run INSTALL.
3. Go to "Network Card", and press <Enter>
4. Slect "Change driver for network card." .
5. Select "Network card not shown in list below..".
6. Insert the released floppy diskette, specify pathname
A:\NDIS\DOS
7. After installation, reboot your system.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
