How to reflash NVflash BIOS?

1. Power-on your PC, press <Del> key to enter the BIOS setup.

2. Goto "Security" option, check "Boot Sector Virus Protection" item is set [Disabled], after checking, save settings and exit.

3. Prepare your BIOS file(xxxx.ROM) and AMI flash tool(NVflash.EXE) in a floppy disk, or a FAT16/32 file system's hard disk, especially make sure that the sector is ok if you use a floppy disk.

4. Reboot your system to a PURE DOS environment with DOS or Windows98 floppy disk, don't upload any memory management program.

5. At the DOS prompt, type the syntax as below(for example BIOS.ROM is the BIOS file):

A:\>NVflash BIOS.ROM

   After you press <Enter> key, this program will reflash BIOS automatically, just reboot your system after finish the BIOS reflash.

6. Wait the next boot up, press <Del> key or <F1> key to enter the BIOS setup, for the safety, please load the BIOS default settings once, save and exit, congratulation, you just finish the BIOS update work completely.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
