NDIS/3 Driver Installation for Windows NT 4.0
=============================================

  1. Plug 32-Bit 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter into one of PCI slots.

  2. Turn power ON then boot from Windows NT.

  3. Click the "My Computer" icon in the Main Program Group.

  4. Click the "Control Panel" icon from Main window.

  5. Click the "Network" icon from the Control Panel window.

  6. Select "Adapters" item, then click "Add..." in the "Network" dialog box.

  7. Insert the Adapter Driver Diskette in your floppy drive.

  8. Click "Have Disk..." button from "Select Network Adapter" dialog box.

  9. Enter the full pathname A:\ of the driver installation information file
     (OEMSETNT.INF) in "Insert Disk" dialog box, then click OK button.

 10. Select "32-Bit 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter" then click OK button in the
     "Select OEM Option" dialog box.

 11. Click "Ingore" if you use one 32-Bit 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter or input
     Ethernet ID in the "Input Ethernet ID" dialog box to specify which card
     to let the driver locate the right adapter if there are multiple 32-Bit
     10M PCI Ethernet Adapters used.

 12. Windows NT will copy the driver from the A:\WINNT40 directory to the
     C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory and the OEMSETNT.INF file from A:\
     to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 but renamed it to other installation information
     file (OEMNADxx.INF).

     NOTICE!! C:\WINNT is the directory where your NT O.S. is located.

 13. After that, installation is completed. You will see:

     "[x]32-Bit 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter"

     within Network Adapters list from "Network" dialog box.

 14. To complete network installation, remember binding the adapter to
     transport drivers by choosing "Bindings" button in the "Network"
     dialog box.

 15. Click "Close" button in the "Network" dialog box.

 16. Remove the Adapter Driver Diskette from your floppy drive.

 17. Restart your computer to take effect the network function.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
