          DOMEX DMX3194U/UP/UW Device Driver for Netware 3.1x, 4.xx

I)  Installation procedures for Netware 3.1x, 4.x device driver:

    1)  Follow the Novell Netware installation procedure for the version of
	Netware you are using
	
    2)  When prompted for the disk driver files by INSTALL.NLM, insert
        DMX3194 Device Driver Disk #1 and type the following:
       A) For Netware 3.1x
		select directory A:\NETWARE\V_31X
       B) For Netware 4.xx or later
		select directory A:\NETWARE\V_4X
       C) For HAM driver
		select directory A:\NETWARE\HAM
 
II) Driver configuration options:

    /V          Verbose mode provides detail information about driver when
		driver is initialized
    /!V         Non Verbose mode (default)
    /L          Driver assumes that all targets have more than one LUN
    /!L         Driver assumes that all targets only have LUN 0 (default)
    /Q:x        Specifies maximum number of tag commands per target
    /!Q         No tag command
    /B:(d,dd),. Scan device only on PCI BUS x, DEVICE yy
    /B:d        Scan all the devices on the PCI BUS x
    /T:xxxx     Target enable mask WORD (Default scan all targets)
    /WR         Hardware read after write verify
    /!WR        No read after write verify
    /R          Support removable media (default)
    /!R         No support for removable media
    /D          Enable support for fixed disk drive (default)
    /!D         Disable support for fixed disk drive

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
