1. Introduction
This printer driver is installed on Microsoft Windows NT(R) 4.0 (hereinafter
Windows NT).
The following functions are not available.
N-up print
Cleaning
Settings of Status Monitor

3.Installing
Before setup, check the following Items.
-Windows NT Server 4.0 or Windows NT Workstation 4.0

<Installation>
1)Turn on your computer and log on the PC using an user account
that has Full Control permission.
2)Select the directry for the printer drive from Windows NT Explorer.
3)Double-click "Install.bat".
The installation of the driver starts.
4)Next, "Add Printer Wizard" starts.
Continue the installation as explained in Add Printer Wizard.
During the installation, Windows NT 4.0 (CD-ROM) will be needed.
5)Exit the command prompt dialog after the setup completes.
4. Uninstall
1) Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click
Printers.
Click QMS DeskLaser600 icon with the right mouse button,
and click Delete.
2) Follow the instructions on the screen.
5. Notes
1) Printing small size material such as envelopes can cause
toner scattering inside of the printer.
2) When a printer error occurs, delete the current print job
and turn the printer off and on, then start the print job
again.
3) Some application software may quit a print job in the
middle of the printing process because of the lack of
hard disk space.
In this case, check your PC's hard disk space,and if it is
small, delete unnecessary files, then start the print job
again.
4) Please replace the new Imaging Unit when printouts become
grayish, which means toner is running out.
5) Please make sure the paper size selected in the printer
driver on the PC is the same as the size of paper set in
the cassette.
Selecting different size may cause an improper printout.
6) [QMS DeskLaser600] Please select "Enable bidirectional support
for this printer" in [Properties]-[Ports].
You can not print with [Disable].
7)Setting of the Status Monitor cannot be set from Printer
Properties. When you change setting of the Status Monitor,
please right-click Status Monitor Icon in task tray while printing,
and select "Setting" in menu.
"Status Monitor Setting" dialog is appeared. Please change setting
from this dialog.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
