Installation
System requirement
The ProColor Plus software runs under 386 Enhanced mode with 4MB RAM, and
a Super VGA card with the Windows 3.x driver which supports 640x480, 256 colors installed.
Procedure
1. Boot your system.
2. Insert the ProColor Plus diskette to drive A.
3. At the DOS prompt type A; then press <Enter>.
4. Type "install" to activate the installation program ( You may quit
any time by press the predefined key under the installation program. )
5. Follow the steps of the installation process to create a directory
for ProColor Plus software ( DOS version or Windows version ) .
Remarks :
The installation program will copy the initialization file
( CEDITW2.INI ) to your Windows directory.
To Start CEDITW2 with the RUN Command
1. Choose Run from the File Menu in Program Manager or File Manager.
2. Type the pathname and exact name of the progam file, CEDITW2.EXE.
3. Choose OK or press ENTER.
To Start CEDITW2 with the icon.
1. Choose New from the File manu in the Program Manager. Program Manager displays the New Program Object dialog box.
2. Select the Program Group option and choose OK. Program Manager displays the Progam Group Properties
dialog box.
3. Type a description for the group you want to create. This description
appears in the title bar of the group window. and Choose OK.

2. Choose New from the File Menu in the Program Manager
3. Select the Program Item option and choose OK. Program Manager displays the Program Item Properties dialog box.
4. Type in a description for the Program Item that you want to create. The description will appear under program icon.
5. Type in the pathname.
File Commands
Open
The Open command is used for loading an existing image from a file into
CEDITW2 window.
Save
The Save command is used for saving the image in the current window using
the default file name and format; one that was used with the Open command
when loading in image.
SaveAs...
The SaveAs... command is for saving the image in the current window using a
new file name or file format.
Grab...
The Grab... command is used for grabbing an image directly from the ProColor
Plus board within Windows.
Freeze
The Freeze command is used for freezing an image directly from the ProColor
Plus board within Windows.
MulitGrab
The MultiGrab command is used for capturing mulitple frames of image into
a file. Based on the default value or the choices from the MultiGrab
Setting... under the pull down menu of Configuration, hit a key to start
to grab multiple frame of images into a file.
Play Fli...
The Play Fli... command is used for play the images captured sequentially
from the ProColor Plus board. The above command. MulitGrab, is used to
generate a file containing multiple frames. This Play Fli.. is used for
playing that file back. You can see the animation effect on the screen.
Exit
Exits from CEDITW2.
EDIT Commands
Copy to Clipboard
Copy the entire image under the window of CEDITW2 to the Clipboard.
Color Commands
These three optimization algorithms are used for reducing 64,000 colors
captured by the ProColor Plus board to 256 colors which can then be
displayed with a Super VGA display card.

Dithered Color
Dithered color is the default display method.
Configuration Command
Set Address...
The Set Address... command is for selecting the various base address used by
the ProColor Plus board. The software setting has to be the same as the
hardware jumper setting.
Preview Options
The Preview options is for selecting the color schemes /resolutions of
display. Click this comand to get next level of pull down menu in order to
select different choices.
MultiGrab Setting...
The MulitGrab Setting is for selecting different factors which will determine
the animation effect and quality. It also allows you to specify the name of
file where the images is saved.
Remarks
In order to operate MultiGrab properly, install device driver corresponding
to the VGA display card into the directory which you installed the ProColor
Plus software.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
