He tenido el mismo problema que muchos, mi escaner UMAX Astra 1220S no funcionaba con Windows XP... utilizando el VistaScan 3.55. Accidentalemnte, descubri que la version del VistaSCan 2.43 si funciona. Talvez no sea tan vistoso pero igual realiza las mismas funciones. Intentenlo... no hay peor intento que el que no se hace. El archivo Umax_1220S_VS243.zip contiene las versiones en español e ingles del VistaScan 2.43, simplemente deben descomprimirlas, buscar el disco 1 y ejecutar el setup.exe Durante la instalacion se presentan tres opciones de compatibilidad... a mi me funciona la segunda... si no funciona deben borrar el directorio C:\VSTASCAN e instalar de nuevo y probar con las otras opciones. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
