NDIS Driver for Microsoft Windows 95. (Release 1)

PRE-INSTALLATION
You should setup and diagnose the Instant-Link adapter(s) by
applying NDCONF3 before you install and/or run the NOS or
network applications.
If you want Windows 95 to help to load the driver for ND53XX,
please set the ND53XX adapter to PnP mode(recommanded). For
some reason, If you want to load driver manually from "Network",
please set the adapter to non-PnP mode by running NDCONF3.EXE.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Insert ND5300 Plug and Play Adapter to your system.
2. Power on your computer to start Windows 95.
3. Windows 95 will detect that there is new hardware in your PC.
"New Hardware Found" window shows.
4. In "New Hardware Found" window, select item 2 "Driver from disk
"provided by hardware manufacturer" and click <OK> button.
5. Insert "NDC Setup diskette" to drive a: or b:.
6. Input the driver location in "Install From Disk" window.
a:\win95
7. Select "NDC ND5300 PnP Ethernet Adapter" from "Select Driver"
window. Click <OK> button.
The driver is loaded and Windows 95 startup.
8. The installation is completed.

PRE-INSTALLATION
You should setup and diagnose the Instant-Link adapter(s) by
applying NDCONF3 before you install and/or run the NOS or

If you want Windows 95 to help to load the driver for ND53XX,
please set the ND53XX adapter to PnP mode(recommanded). For
some reason, If you want to load driver manually from "Network",
please set the adapter to non-PnP mode by running NDCONF3.EXE.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Insert ND53XX in one empty ISA slot and boot up your Win 95.
2. Win95 should find "NDC Plug & Play Ethernet Card" in
"New Hardware Found" box. Then find "NE2000 Compatiable" in
"Update Device Driver Wizard" box.
3. If you want to load this NE2000 driver for ND53XX, press
"Finish" to complete the installation and reboot.
4. If you want to load driver from ND53XX release diskette,
you must follow the steps listed below:
a. Press "Other Locations". And insert the ND53XX release diskette
to the floppy diskette.
b. Enter the path "A:\WIN95" in the "Location" column. Press OK.
c. Then the Wizard will find "NDC ND5300 PnP Ethernet Adapter".
d. Press "Finish" and follow the instructions on screen to complete
the installation.
e. Reboot your notebook.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
