NDIS Driver for Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11 Installation

This Card comes with NDCGO, this program provides a fast way to
install Windows for Workgroups. We recommend you run NDCGO to install
Windows for Workgroups by selecting the Windows for Workgroups option.
Otherwise, follow the procedure below to complete the installation
manually.


PRE-INSTALLATION

     You should setup and diagnose the Instant-Link adapter(s) by
     applying NDCONF3 before you install and/or run the NOS or
     network applications.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1)   Start Windows by typing "WIN".

2)   Select the "Network Setup" icon in the "Network Program".

3)   Select the "Drivers" item.

4)   Select the "Add Adapter" item.

5)   Select "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" from "Add
     Network Adapter" window and click <OK> button.

6)   Input the located drive of "NDC Setup diskette" and the driver
     directory (\WFW311) in 'Install Driver' window and click <OK> button.
        e.g.
             A:\WFW311

7)   Select the protocol used by the rest of your network and make
     sure it is set as the "Default Protocol".

8)   Click <Close>.

9)   Click <OK>.

10)  Windows for Workgroups(WFW) may ask you to insert a few WFW diskettes.
     Insert the specified WFW diskettes in the specified drive to copy some
     new files.

11)  Restart computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
