A. Installation Procedure for LAN Manager V2.0 -------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1) Type "Setup" in Lan Manager directory (usually C:\LANMAN.DOS). Press <Enter>. 2) Press <Enter>. 3) Choose "Select Network Drivers" in "Action". Press <Enter>. 4) Click <Other Driver> button, to install the network driver from "NDC Setup diskette" (in \MSLANMAN.DOS directory). 5) Choose "Save" in "Action". 6) Press <F3> to Exit. 7) Edit the PROTOCOL.INI in C:\LANMAN.DOS. 8) Reboot your computer. This completes the installation procedure. B. Installation Introduction for LAN Manager V2.1 (or later) ------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1) Insert "NDC Setup diskette" to drive A: or B:. 1) Type "LMSETUP" in LAN Manager directory (usually C:\LANMAN.DOS). Press <Enter>. Microsoft LAN Manger Setup will appear. 2) Choose "Network Drivers..." in " Configuration ". Press <Enter>. 3) Click <Add New Configs> button. Network Adapter Driver appears. 4) Click <Other Driver> button. To install network driver from "NDC Setup diskette"(\MSLANMAN.DOS directory). 5) Press the <SPACE> bar to select the protocol that you want. 6) Click <OK> button. "Configuration Complete" appear. 7) Click <Save> button. 8) Press <F3> to exit. 9) Press <Enter>. 10) Edit the PROTOCOL.INI in C:\LANMAN.DOS. 11) Reboot your computer. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
