SOHOware BROADGUARD NBG800 :

The procedure and notes for the NBG800 firmware upgrading
in Windows operating systems

[Upgrading procedure]

Step 1: Copy both the upgrade.exe file and the Igate13.bin file to a clean folder on the hard disk
with available space more than 1.1Mbytes.

Step 2: Disconnect all computers and modems from the NBG800
(except the one doing the upgrade)
Run the upgrade.exe by double clicking on it.

Step 3: On the first screen, you can change the NBG800 IP address
ONLY if the IP address of your NBG800 was changed. (By default, the
NBG800 IP address is 192.168.1.1)

step 4: Click the 'Upgrade' button to start the upgrading.

[Note] After clicking the 'Upgrade' button, please be patient
to wait for the upgrade process to complete (about 2 minutes).
Do NOT interrupt the upgrading process once it is started.

step 5: The upgrading will complete within about two
minutes. Upgrading is finished when you see the 'Upgrade Complete!' message
EXIT upgrade program

[Note]

The available disk space to run this program is at least 1.1Mbytes.
It's highly recommended you copy the file to the hard disk, instead of
running it from a floppy!

The reason is simple : the upgrade.exe needs disk space to decompress
the binary file for temperary use! The program itself is about
600Kbytes, and the firmware is about 432Kbytes, totally 1.1Mbytes.
