README.TXT Driver File Contents (ccl-hp2.zip)

The files included are for use with the CCL series printers
CCL600, CCL600 XF, CCL660 ES and CCL1200 ES.

HEADER.HP2 - Standard HPGL2 header file which simply
switches the CCL printer to HPGL2 mode. This is
not required for the ES series.

ASIZE.HP2 - This includes control codes to specify that
the printer use letter (8.5 x 11) paper.

BSIZE.HP2 - This includes control codes to specify that
the printer use tabloid (11 x 17) paper.

NOTE: The above files do not work when the printer is set
to HP/GL2 mode, only when SYS = AUTO. The control
codes are PCL5 commands. HPGL2 does not have any
    commands for cut-sheet paper sizes.

TRAILER.HP2 - It is necessary to send this file at the
end of each document to cause the printer to print the
   document reliably.

To use these files on a direct printer connection, from
the DOS prompt type (for example):

         COPY HEADER.HP2+<filename>+TRAILER.HP2 LPT1

This will concatenate the three files together and
copy them out the port LPT1.
