TechJET Color Postscript Language Compatible Firmware Option ( Firmware version '1:60P') This postscript option upgrade should ONLY be installed on Postscript units. If you already have the PostScript Option, the letter "P" will be the second to last character of the version displayed on the control panel during the power-on process. ************************************************************************** * If there is not a "P", then you DO NOT have the PostScript option * * installed. Abort the download with CTRL C. Downloading the PostScript * * option firmware to plotters that do not have the PostScript option may * * cause the plotter to fail. Refer to the README.TXT file for details * ************************************************************************** To put the plotter in the download mode power the plotter OFF. Press and hold the + and - keys while turning the power ON. Hold the keys until the plotter initializes. The plotter should display "Awaiting download file" To abort the installation press CTRL CDownload Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
