INSTRUCCIONES PARA INSTALAR EL DRIVER PARA LA TARJETA DE RED
** ASOUND 8139 EN WINDOWS XP. **

1. Descomprima el archivo "Asound_8139.zip" dentro de la carpeta deseada.
   Ej: MiCarpeta.
2. Ingrese a: INICIO > PANEL DE CONTROL > SISTEMA.
3. Haga clic sobre la pestaña "Hardware". 
4. Presione el botón "Administrador de dispositivos".
5. Busque la sección "Adaptadores de Red", seleccione la tarjeta ASOUND
   100/10M Ethernet PCI Adapter y haga clic derecho sobre éste.
6. Seleccione la opción "Actualizar Controlador". Aparecerá el asistente
   para actualización de hardware.

7. A la pregunta "¿Desea que Windows se conecte a Windows Update para ...?",
   responda "No por el momento" y presione el botón "Siguiente".
8. A la pregunta "¿Qué desea que haga el asistente?", responda "Instalar
   desde una lista o ubicación específica".
9. Seleccione la opción "No buscar. Seleccionaré el controlador que ..." y 
   presione "Siguiente".
10. En la lista de "Hardware compatible" seleccione "Tarjeta Ethernet 
    asound  10/100M Based Fast" y pulse el botón "Utilizar disco".
11. Seleccione el directorio donde se encuentra alojado el driver para 
    Windows 2000 que es compatible con XP.
    Ej: C:\MiCarpeta\wins2000  [Donde C:\ es la unidad y MICarpeta es el
                                folder donde descomprimió el archivo
                                Asound_8139.zip]
12. Presione "Aceptar". El asistente le mostrará una alerta de firma digital.
    Sin embargo, presione "Continuar".
13. Presione el botón "Finalizar".
14. Reinicie la máquina.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

• Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

• If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

• Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

• Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

• Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

• From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

• Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
