Readme file for VCC100 Capture card 
Windows95 Configuration
Ver 2.2.223 Aug/97

1.  The drivers must be extracted and copied into 
    a floppy diskette.
2.  From windows95 menu 
    select Control Panel,
    select System, 
    select the Device Manager Tab
3.  select  Other. 
    If the PCI Multimedia Video device is listed, 
    remove it. Go to step 6
4.  If you are updating current drivers,  
    select the Device Manager Tab
5.  select  Sound, Video and Game Controller. 
    If the Smart One VCC100 Video Capture Device is listed, 
    remove it.
6.  Hit OK. And restart Windows95. 
7.  Windows 95 will detect your video capture card.
8.  A New Hardware Found dialog box will appear.
    Select Driver from the diskette provided by the
    manufacture and hit OK.
9.  Insert the diskette with the updated drivers and hit OK.
10. A select Device dialog box will appear. 
    Select the Smart One VCC100 video capture card from 
    the list and hit OK.
11. Proceed with the instructions

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
