Windows for Workgroups v3.11 Introduction: ------------- This document describes the procedure to install Microsoft Windows for Workgroups v3.11 driver for the PCMCIA 10/100M Ethernet adapter. You must run Socket/Card services device driver and/or Enable program before you invoke any Ethernet driver. For the detailed information on how to insatll PCMCIA driver, please refer to the User's Manual or the "About PCMCIA" section in README file. LOCATION OF DRIVER: \WFW311\AX8190.DOS Setup Procedure: ---------------- After you run into Windows for Workgroup 3.11: 1. Select the "Network Setup" icon in the Network Group. 2. Click on the "Drivers..." button. 3. If you are replacing a previous LAN adapter, select the Remove button to delete that adapter. 4. Click on the "Add Adapter" button. 5. Choose Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter. 6. Insert the adapter driver disk in CD-ROM drive and specify the path E:\PCMCIA\WFW311 for the location of the driver. 7. Close, and when prompted, restart your computer so that changes take affect.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
