Instructions for using the Setup and Configuration Utilities
for the CMD DMA IDE drivers for Windows 95

1. Place the installation files on a floppy diskette. Make sure
all of the files are in the same directory.

2. Press the "Start" button on the Windows 95 status bar.

3. Select "Run...".

4. Enter "Setup /o" with the full path of the installation files.
for example, if the installation files are in the root directory
   of A drive, then type "A:\setup /o".

5. After the program runs, it will ask you for whether you wish
to continue the installation of the driver. Make sure the
driver version is V1.18 or later. Select "Yes" to continue.

6. The screen will display messages of what the installer is currently
doing. Depending on the speed of the processor and the speed of
the hard drive, the message may pause a short while at
"Saving the Windows 95 registry." Do not panic. Simply wait a
few more seconds and the program should continue.

7. After all of the files are copied, the program will ask you if
you wish to restart. Answer "Yes" and the computer will reboot.

8. After the computer reboots, Windows 95 will claim that it found
new devices. Simply answer "NO" every time it askes you to reboot.

9. When Windows 95 finishes installing the new devices, there should
be a message "The system is rebooting for the driver parameters
to take effect." The system will then reboot.

10.After the computer reboots, the driver is then installed.
