                IrDA Driver for Windows 95 4.00.950
             =========================================

Installing the IrDA Driver
----------------------------------------
    1. Remove the original IrDA device.
       a. Bring up the System Properties from control panel.
           - From the Windows 95 Start Menu, go to "Settings", then
             "Control Panel", then select "System".
       b. Click on the "Device Manager"
       c. Double click on the "Ports (COM & LPT)
       d. Click on the "IrDA Device"
       e. Double click the options "Remove"
       f. Click the option "OK" to "Confirm Device Removal".
       g. Click on "Close" to close the "System Properties"

    2. Bring up the "Add New Hardware Wizard" from Control Panel.
        - From the Windows 95 Start Menu, go to "Settings", then
          "Control Panel", then select "Add New Hardware"

    3. Click on the "Next"

    4. Select the item "No", and click on the "Next"

    5. Select the "Ports (COM & LPT)" and then click on the "Next".

    6. Insert the IrDA driver disk into driver A: and click on the
       option "Have Disk".

    7. Enter "A:\IrDA" in the "Copy manufacturer's files from:" selection box,
       and then click "OK".

    8. Click on the option "Next" after "Geneeric IrDA Compatible Device"
       in Models is selected.

    9. Click on "OK" when the message "Insert Disk" popup.

   10. Type "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM" in the "Copy files from:" selection box,
       and then click "OK".

   11. Click on the option "Finish" to complete installation.


   Note :
      To begin using your IrDA software, you must restart your computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
