Step 1 = The location where the support files are to be installed Select as Necessary (Default=C:\NWCLIENT) *IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL ON THE NOVELL SERVER Step 2 = Select YES This puts statements in your Config.sys and Autoexec.bat files to activate drivers Step 3 = Install Windows Support: NO Only install for Microsoft Windows 3.1 DO NOT INSTALL with Windows for Workgroups. (Default Installation Directory=C:\WINDOWS) Step 4 = Select the Network Card? Insert WSDRV_2 This will display a list of Network Cards (SELECT THE CARD AS NEEDED). Then select the parameters of your Ethernet Card IRQ ? (5) PORT ? (320) FRAME ? (ETHERNET_802.3) Step 5 = ACCEPT ALL ENTRIES AS ABOVE AND INSTALL DRIVERS This creates the directory NWCLIENT, installs all the drivers. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
