	a. MPX2PNP.COM is the Accton's new MPX2 DOS/ODI driver
		(\NETWARE\ODI\DOSODI\MPX2PNP.COM)

	b. ACCTON.COM is your workstation driver for NetWare 3.11 DOS/ODI.
		It is found in your Driver Diskette
		(\NETWARE\ODI\DOSODI\ACCTON.COM)

	c. ACCTON.LAN is your server driver for NetWare 3.11.
		It is found in your Driver Diskette
		(\NETWARE\ODI\3.11\ACCTON.LAN)


High performance MPX2 DOS/ODI driver
------------------------------------
MPX2PNP.COM is Accton's MPX2 DOS/ODI driver which can improve network
performance not only at Netware 3.11 but also Netware 4.xx.
To use MPX2PNP, it is not necessary to change server driver, just run
it at client site, then you can get big performance improvement.

Key points for high MPX performance
------------------------------------
This section describes steps to optimize its performance on NetWare 3.11
by Accton's old MPX driver.

1. Make sure to install an EN166x adapter in both
	the workstation and the file server.

2. Install both the workstation and the file
	server drivers respectively.

3. Before running the ACCTON.LAN server driver, modify
	the STARTUP.NCF file to include the following
	command line:

	SET MAXIMUM PHYSICAL RECEIVE PACKET SIZE = 4202

4. Use the Load and bind command to start the server driver.

Loading the NetWare workstation driver

A sample command sequence for running the workstation driver
follows. From your prompt, type the following command sequence
and press <Enter>:

	NETX

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
