MiniPCI Driver Installational Procedures
1. Modem Setting
Please follow the procedures stated below on how to install the driver
(1) Please begin the installation by clicking on the "Start" button, then "Settings".
(2) Click the "Control Panel" icon to open the "Control Panel" window.
(3) Click on the "System" icon to open the "System Properties" window.
(4) Click on the "Display Manager" tab and select the "Other Device" item to
locate the "PCI Card".
(5) Double click on the "PCI Card" item to enter the "PCI Card Properties" window.
(6) Click on the "Driver" tab and select the "Update Driver" selection item below
to proceed with the installation.
(7) Be sure to state the right path to correctly install the driver (Suppose the
path location of the CD is F:):
F:\Driver\MiniPCI\Modem
2. LAN Setting
Please follow the procedures stated below on how to install the driver
(1) Please begin the installation by clicking on the "Start" button, then "Settings".
(2) Click the "Control Panel" icon to open the "Control Panel" window.
(3) Click on the "System" icon to open the "System Properties" window.
(4) Click on the "Display Manager" tab and select the "Other Device" item to
locate the "PCI Ethernet Controller".
(5) Double click on the "PCI Card" item to enter the "PCI Ethernet Controller Properties"
window.
(6) Click on the "Driver" tab and select the "Update Driver" selection item below
to proceed with the installation.
(7) There are two types of LAN card available for this model namely: ADMtek and Realtek.
(8) To determine which type of LAN card your system is using, this can be found in the
"Main" menu of your system BIOS Setup.
(9) Be sure to state the right path to correctly install the driver (Suppose the
path location of the CD is F:):
For ADMtek:
F:Driver\MiniPCI\LAN\ADMtek
For Realtek:
F:Driver\MiniPCI\LAN\Realtek
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
