ID Card Plus

Version 2.6.2 - 8/98
Corrected Win 31 installation problem (changed version to 31).

Version 2.6.1 - 1/98

1) Changed the "Brightness Control" to a Dye-Sub Intensity control
for better clairity.

2) A separate Resin Heat control for color images using a black resin panel.
Now supports monochrome resin printing with four different
ribbon types: Premium, Standard, Color and Metalic. These selections will
select different heat ranges required by the different ribbons for
optimum image transfer. The "heat" control provides a fine tuning of
the heat setting for improving image quality.

3) Four different dithering options are supported. Best to try them out
and see what results they give. These will only be used for the monochrome
resin ribbons.

4) This release supports a new card format called Smart Chip.
Selecting this will force an area to be clipped from the
image corresponding to the area where the smart chip should
be located. The printer does not support encoding of smart cards.

5) Passthrough data for magnetic encoding. (Text based magnetic encoding
is also supported through any application.) This feature is only of
interest to people using programs or writing programs that can send
magnetic data to the ID Card printing using the Passthrough Escape
sequence supported by Windows. Please check with Technical Support
if you need further information on this mode.
