                     CNET PRO200 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter
           NetWare DOS ODI for Workstation Driver Installation Guide
           =========================================================

Installation Procedure
======================
Before you start with the installation process, make sure that the adapter is
properly installed and configured. Besides, make sure that your NetWare Server
operating system is properly installed.

 1. Execute the following commands in order.

    LSL
    DM9PCI
    IPXODI
    NETX (or VLM)

 2. You can now login to the server.

Installation Notes
==================

 1. Remember to specify LASTDRIVE=E in the CONFIG.SYS file if using the NETX
    as DOS requester. (specify LASTDRIVE=Z if using the VLM)

 2. Since different versions of Netware servers use different default frame
    type, please make sure that both server & workstation are using the same
    frame.

 3. A typical NET.CFG is given below.

        Link SUPPORT
        Buffers 8 1514
        Mempool 4096

        Link driver DM9PCI
        Frame Ethernet_802.2
        Frame Ethernet_802.3
        Frame Ethernet_II
        Frame Ethernet_SNAP

 4. If you want the driver to be run in a specific mode (10Mbps/100Mbps speed
    and Half/Full-Duplex Mode), what you need to do is to remove the semi-colon
    in front of the corresponding mode (100FULL, 100HALF, 10FULL, or 10HALF) in
    the NET.CFG file.

    A typical NET.CFG example to run driver on 100Mbps and Full-Duplex mode is
    given below.

        Link SUPPORT
        Buffers 8 1514
        Mempool 4096

        Link driver DM9PCI
        Frame Ethernet_802.2
        Frame Ethernet_802.3
        Frame Ethernet_II
        Frame Ethernet_SNAP
        100FULL

   The default mode is Auto-Negotiation(N-WAY). And actual transfer mode will
   be displayed while loading the driver to indicate either TP Full-Duplex, TP
   (Half-Duplex), LINE SPEED=10 or 100 Mbps.
