General Notes ---------------- It is IMPORTANT that you read this README file and all the supplied documentation BEFORE you continue the installation! The Stealth II G460 driver only supports the Windows NT 4.00 operating system. Service Pack 3 must be installed. 2. Installation Instructions ---------------------------- You should have Windows NT 4.0 installed with the Standard VGA driver (640x480x16) before you install this evaluation Windows NT 4.0 driver. If you are running a different graphics mode please re-configure for Standard VGA before installing this driver. To install this driver: a. Go to the Control Panel b. Select Display c. Select the Settings tab d. Select the Display Type button e. Select the Change button f. Select the Have Disk button g. In the space provided, type X:\NT4 where X is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive. For example, if your CD-ROM is drive D, type D:\NT4. h. Select the Ok button i. Select the Yes button j. The driver will now be copied to your system. You will need to restart your system to use the newly installed drivers. 3. Known Restrictions --------------------- None. 4. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
