Intel740 Flash ROM Update Utility (VFLASH) v1.4 This utility allows the flash ROM video BIOS devices on Intel740- based graphics adaptors to be updated. The VFLASH utility supports the following flash devices: Intel N28F010 Intel N28F001BX-T Atmel AT29C010A SST SST29EE010 Using the flash update requires: 1. The flash utility, vflash.exe 2. The raw image file of the new Video BIOS, e.g. vb206.dat. The utility must be run from DOS. To run the utility from the DOS prompt: 1. Copy the vflash.exe file and any video BIOS images (usually ending in a ".dat" extension) to a floppy disk or to your hard drive. 2. Boot your system to a DOS command prompt. This can be done one of two ways: a. If you are in Windows 95 or Windows 98, choose "Shut Down..." from the Start menu, then choose "Restart in MS-DOS mode". b. If you are just booting the system, press [F8] as soon as "Starting Windows 9x..." appears at the top of the screen. When the menu appears, choose "Command Prompt". 3. Run the program vflash.exe from the location you saved it to. 4. You will be prompted for the name of the video BIOS image. The screen will blank during flash update and you will be required to reboot the system for the changes to take effect. If you are using a non-DOS based operating system, such as Windows NT, you must run the utility from a bootable floppy disk as described below. To run the utility in DOS from a bootable floppy disk: 1. You will need to create a bootable floppy disk using the "sys a:" command from DOS. 2. Copy the files "vflash.exe", "autoexec.bat", and any video BIOS images that you wish to install (ending in ".dat") to the floppy disk. 3. Restart the system and it will automatically boot up and run the flash utility. 4. You will be prompted for the name of the Video BIOS image. The screen will blank during flash update and you will be required to reboot the system for the changes to take effect.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
