Procedures for upgrading your firmware: to V1.120
(For HM18020-4 Only)
Note: make sure the screen saver is disable before
performing the task below, this way it will eliminate
any interruption during the installation.
1) Make sure the modem were properly configured, go to Control
Panel Modem icon Diagnostics folder highlight the COM port
where the modem installed then click "More Info" and wait.
2) Look at the ATI3 because this is you current firmware version.
Then double click "OK".
3) Inserts the diskette that has the files from UP20-4.exe
in drive A, then extract the file to drive A***.
Then click on start, run, type a:\flashcom.exe, and then wait
until it detects the modem.
5) Choose LOAD NOW and click OK when prompt "are you sure" at
this point the software should extract and proceed with the
upgrade.
7) When finished, you will see a verification of the firmware
upgraded version were the modem installed, choose CLOSE to
exit the program.
8) End of installation.
Remark *** After you extract the UP20-5.exe

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
