NDIS 3.0 Driver for Windows for Workgroups 3.11 Installation

The driver "GPM10C.386" contained in directory \WFW311 conforms to the
Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) 3.0 defined by Microsoft.

The NS GPM10C PCMCIA Adapter must be enabled by the enabler,
NSOPEN.EXE, in MS-DOS before WFW 3.11 is brought up. NSOPEN.EXE
can be added in the CONFIG.SYS file in the following format:

       DEVICE=C:\WFW311\NSOPEN.EXE /INT=5 /PORT=300

In the above example it is assumed \WFW311 is the directory where
you installed the WFW 311 system software, and you have copied
NSOPEN.EXE from the driver disk to this directory. INT and PORT
parameters specify the Interrupt and the I/O port number respectively
that you intend to use with NS GPM10C PCMCIA ADAPTERS. The value you
specify for these
resources must not be used by any other device in the system.

This statement should be added after the Card Service driver
statement in CONFIG.SYS if the Card Service driver is used.

Steps to install the WFW 311 NDIS3 driver:

    1. Run Windows by entering "WIN" from the MS-DOS command prompt.
    2. Click the "Network" icon in the Main Program Group.
    3. Click the "Network Setup" icon from the Network window.
    4. Select "Networks" in the Network Setup window.
    5. Select "Install Microsoft Windows Network" from the Networks window.
    6. Select "Drivers" from the Network Setup window.
    7. Select "Add Adapter" item in the Option Dialog box.
    8. Select the "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" when the
       Install driver field appears.
    9. Type destination drive and path name in your PC (i.e. A:\).
   10. Insert the NS GPM10C PCMCIA Driver Disk in your floppy drive
and press <Enter> to start the installation process.
   11. When the "NS GPM10C PCMCIA Adapter" dialog box appears,
select the correct interrupt number, I/O address and click "Close".
The value you specify for these resources must be the same
as those that you specified for NSOPEN.EXE.
   12. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
