PCI Fast Ethernet Card User's Guide
        FE100R II/III Driver Disk Version 1.1

  Overview:
The Fast Ethernet Adapter Series are 32-bit PCI Local
Bus based network boards featuring a high data transmission
rate of 100Mbps on a 100BaseTX network. It conforms to the
  IEEE802.3 10BaseT and 802.3u 100BaseTX standards.
The 10/100Mbps card is a dual-speed adapter with a single
  auto-negotiation 10/100Mbps RJ-45 connector. Either UTP
or STP can be used for connection to a 10BaseT or 100BaseTX
network. The speed is determined by the kind of hub, the card
  is connected to.
Full-duplex operation is supported. When the card is running
with the full-duplex mode, the speed can be boosted to 20Mbps/
  200Mbps.
A ROM socket is provided on the board for a bootROM. With
the optional RPL(Remote Program Load) BootROM, a diskless
station can bootup from the different network systems, such
as Novell NetWare, Linux, Microsoft LAN Manager, IBM LAN Server,
  Banyan VINES, and Artisoft LANtastic.
The Fast Ethernet Card series not onlu provide a good solution
for you to upgrade to 100BaseTX networking, but also protect your
  investment on 10BaseT.
