   NDIS3 driver with Windows

   **  Use of NDIS3 Driver with Win95, OSR2, Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0  **

   For most environments,  the  NDIS3 driver is recommended and is
   installed by default into Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51 operating
   systems. The  NDIS3 driver will only function on Win95 build 950A
   and  greater version OSR2 and Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0. ( You can
   check  the  Windows release number in the System Properties dialog
   box, General tab.)

   If the  user  desires  features  of the  NDIS3  driver, it can be
   installed by pointing to the \NDIS3 directory on the PCI Fast Ethernet Card
   Driver Disk floppy during installation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
