1. In the beginning
This driver provides you the capability to output to the Roland Plotter
series from your Windows 95 graphics and drawing application software.

3. Important Notes
- This driver does not support output any bitmap data. It is impossible to
output texts or border lines etc. from such applications that output bitmap
data, for example word processing softwares.
We recommend to use drawing softwares.
- When you will use internal stroke font of Plotter, please select "Roland
Plotter" in "Fonts" menu. It appears only when this driver has been selected in
"Printers" menu. Some application softwares, however, cannot list "Roland
Plotter" in the "Fonts" menu.
- When you will output True Type fonts, you should generate 'outlines' of texts
to convert them into vector data. Please refer to the manual of your
application software for this function.
If your software does not have the function to generate outline, it is
impossible to output True Type fonts.

5. Installation
Installation of this driver into Windows 95 can be done with the common manner to add printer. The "Add Printer Wizard" will assist you to install the driver.
(1) Start Windows 95.
(2) Click "Start" button, and select "Printers" in the "Settings" menu.
Alternatively, double-click the "My Computer" icon, then double-click
the "Printers" icon.
(3) Double-click "Add Printer" icon. The "Add Printer Wizard" appears.
(4) Follow the instructions of "Add Printer Wizard".
If you will output a test print, please turn power on and prepare
for output in your device.

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
