Gx64/Gx128 Windows 95 Installation Step 1 Boot up the Windows 95 operating system. Step 2 Insert the Windows 95 driver diskette into the Drive A. Step 3 Open the "Control Panel" in the Main group. Step 4 In the "Control Panel", open the "Display". Step 5 The "Display Properties" window will appear, choose the "Settings" item on the top of this window. Step 6 In the "Settings" item, click the "Change Display Type" button. Step 7 A "Change Display Type" window will appear, click the "Change" button of the "Adapter Type". Step 8 Another window named "Select Device" will appear, click the "Have Disk" button. Step 9 A dialog box will appear, type "A:\win95", and click "OK". Step 10 Then the "Select Device" screen will appear. Select the "Philips Gx64" item and click "OK". Step 11 Follow the instructions on the screen. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
