HP LaserJet 4 Print Device File for Novell NetWare This disk contains the print device file (HPLJ4.PDF) to be used when printing with a Novell NetWare 286 network (version 2.12 or greater) and a NetWare 386 network (version 3.1 or greater) on a HP LaserJet 4 printer. If you need specific information on how to configure your network, please refer to the Novell NetWare Networks chapter found in the HP LaserJet 4 printer Network Notes manual. This print device is intended for system supervisors and network administrators. Some familiarity with using the Novell NetWare utilities PRINTDEF and PRINTCON is recommended. Hewlett-Packard recommends using the HPLJ4.PDF found on this disk as the print device. Other print devices may be used, but you would not be able to utilize all of the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 printer features, such as language switching.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
