Use the NetWare 386 v3.11 file "SERVER.EXE" to start the installation process.
You will be prompted for a file server name and an IPX internal netwaork number.
Consult the "NetWare 386 User's Manual" for this information.

Installing ALi NetWare driver requires use the "LOAD" console command.
For a complete explanation of "LOAD", see the "NetWare System Administration"
manual.

For NetWare 3.1x :

!!!Warning!!!
  It's improper to switch IDE driver for NetWare server.  Please load ALi
driver during installation and keep on using it.  If you use other driver and
than switch to ALi driver, the data in hard disk will not be guaranteed to be 
correct, and vice versa.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
