	Note:
	 1. please first enable USB function in BIOS setup
	 2. make sure that you are in Windows 98



	(please install the Malibu TWAIN Data Source first)
	Malibu TWAIN Data Source installation procedure:
	~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
	 1. execute setup.exe in the directory "Malibu Camera Software(V1.21.1)"
	 2. press "Next", "Yes", "Next" and "Finish" in order
		for the four popup dialogue box.
	 3. The computer will restart at the end of setup procedure.



	Malibu USB Push Driver installation procedure:
	~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
	 1. switch the camera to PC Connection mode
	 2. Plug in the USB cable to the camera
	 3. Windows 98 will popup two message box:
		"New Hardware Found" and "Building driver information database"
	 4. "altek USB Push Camera-A031 (Malibu V1.12.3)" will be displayed
		in a new message box

	 5. open "Scanners and Cameras" in "Control Panel"
		from "Settings" of "Start" button
	 6. select "altek USB Push Camera-A031 (Malibu V1.12.3)" camera device,
		and then press "Properties"
	 7. switch to "Events" page, and select the preferd Push awareness application
		"Imaging" is the default application in Windows 98
		(Adobe's Photo Deluxe 2.0 and PhotoShop 5.0 as well as Ulead Photo Express 2.0
		are the popular Push awareness applications)
		press "OK" to apply the "altek USB Push Camera-A031 (Malibu V1.12.3)"
		Properties setting
	 8. press "OK" to apply the "Scanners and Cameras Properties" setting

	 9. pull the USB cable from the camera
	10. replug the USB cable into the camera


		PUSH!!!

		The assigned Push awareness application will be launched and the TWAIN
		data source of Malibu Camera will open and download all thumbnails
		from camera automaticly.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
