MODEM.DSC:    LASAT Modem script for DOS Carbon Copy V5.x and V6.x

PRODUCTS
The attached files contain definitions for the following
modems :

LASAT 144-Series
LASAT 288-Series
LASAT 336-Series
LASAT unique 640i  (user setting used, HDLC, X.75, X.25, T.70, V.110, V.120)
LASAT unique 1280i (user setting used only)


For the LASAT safire 560 Voice we recommend using LASAT 336-Series.

INSTALLATION
Copy the MODEM.DSC or MCMODEM.DSC file to the Carbon Copy directory and run 
the CCINSTAL.EXE program.

You should now see the LASAT products in the modem list.

INSTALLATION
Copy the MODEM.DSC or MCMODEM.DSC file to the Carbon Copy directory and run 
the CCINSTAL.EXE program.

You should now see the LASAT products in the modem list.

ATTENTION: If you make any changes to MODEM.DSC, then you MUST run the 
CCINSTALL.EXE, and select the modem again, to bring the changes to work.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
